Here is a reminder of how the titles are (otherwise) numerically arranged: That one is already also available on Amazon Prime and hopefully will still be there when it’s no longer here. Also, the Ken Burns and Lynn Novick docuseries The Vietnam War is leaving the streaming service on June 18th. Speaking of expired titles, Jiro Dreams of Sushi also left recently. Athlete A doesn’t premiere until June 24th and sadly, the lovable Oscar-nominated documentary Cutie and the Boxer is leaving on June 14th. It’s called Athlete A, and it looks good enough to highlight this month, sight unseen.Ĭohen and Shenk’s Audrie & Daisy, which deals with a different sort of sexual abuse, also deserves to return to the list of Netflix’s best, and while that does put the number of features above 50, that’s okay because these 50 titles won’t all be available at the same time. Now, Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk have another film about the story for Netflix, this one focused on the journalists who exposed the whole thing. Last year, Erin Lee Carr and HBO gave us an excellent film about the USA Gymnastics team scandal and Larry Nassar’s abuse of its athletes titled At the Heart of Gold.
